Certified Nurse Midwife Opening in St. Johnsbury, VT (Permanent) Full time, permanent Employed 3 years' experience required Position Overview: We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Certified Nurse Midwife (CNM) to join our collaborative team of OBGYNs and Midwives in a full-time role. This position involves a blend of clinic days and shared call duties, providing a full scope of midwifery services in a supportive rural setting. Position Highlights: Collaborate with a team of OBGYNs, midwives, and women's health nurse practitioners. Provide 24-hour on-call coverage for midwifery patients. Deliveries are conducted in a spacious birth center designed to support physiologic birth and patient choice. Options for water labor and birth, nitrous oxide, intrathecal, and VBAC. 1:1 nursing support during labor and delivery. Comfortable call room suite and full-time lactation counselor support. Birth center holds a Baby Friendly designation for its commitment to supporting mothers and babies. Qualifications: Nurse Midwifery certification. Current Vermont RN and APRN license (or ability to obtain). Current Vermont DEA (or ability to obtain). Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the AHA.
