Job Description: PA/NP (Women’s Health)

Location: Los Angeles, California

Position Overview:
We are seeking a compassionate and highly skilled Physician Assistant (PA) or Nurse Practitioner (NP) specializing in Women’s Health to join our dedicated healthcare team in Los Angeles, California. This position focuses on providing comprehensive care to patients in the field of Obstetrics and Gynecology (OB & GYN). The ideal candidate will be experienced, patient-centered, and committed to empowering women to achieve their best health outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including obtaining detailed medical histories and performing physical examinations.
  • Diagnose and manage a variety of women’s health concerns, including routine gynecological care, prenatal care, and reproductive health issues.
  • Provide patient education on preventive care, contraception, and other health topics relevant to women’s health.
  • Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care.
  • Perform in-office procedures as needed, such as Pap smears, IUD insertions/removals, and other minor gynecological procedures.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, monitoring progress and modifying care as needed.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed patient records in compliance with state and federal regulations.
  • Address urgent patient needs, managing acute concerns effectively and efficiently.

Requirements:

  • Active and unrestricted California PA or NP license.
  • National certification as a PA or NP.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience working in OB & GYN.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a focus on delivering high-quality patient care.

Preferences:

  • Bilingual in English and Spanish to better serve a diverse patient population.
  • Strong knowledge of community resources and cultural competency in women’s health.
