Locums PA Neurosurgery Need in North Carolina

Coverage Needed:

• As soon as credentialed - ongoing
• Schedule: 12 hours per day, 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM, 7 days per week

Clinical Details:

• Average of 12 consults per day
• First Assist with surgeons on a PRN basis
• Supports floor call, answers clinical questions, fills prescriptions, and performs order entry
• EMR: Cerner
• Support Staff: RNs, PCTs, EEG Techs

Requirements:

• Must have a North Carolina license and NC DEA
• Must be board certified or board eligible
• Prior experience working with Neurosurgery
• Experience as First Assist is required
• DEA must remain in state to maintain privileges. Provider must be willing transfer and maintain DEA in state for the duration of privileges being active, or obtain a new in state DEA to remain in state for the duration of privileges being active
• Current Flu Vaccine
• Must be fully vaccinated for Covid 19
  • Exemptions only allowed for religious or medical reasons, once approved by the facility.
