Job Description

The University of Missouri Department of Neurosurgery is seeking a dynamic candidate to support continued growth of Spine Surgery at the MU School of Medicine. Teaching and funded research opportunities are highly encouraged and well supported.

Successful candidates will participate in general and pediatric neurosurgery on-call coverage; contribute to resident selection and evaluation; participate in resident and medical education through supervision in the clinical setting and operating room, as well as through academic curriculum development; and involvement in clinically relevant research and scholarship.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications: Candidates must be board-certified or board-eligible in neurosurgery.

Candidates will be evaluated on: experience in a broad range of neurosurgery, including complex spine surgery, spine trauma, and/or minimally invasive spine surgery. A demonstrated passion for resident and medical student education.
