Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant - Neurosurgery

A hospital in Northern New Jersey is seeking a Nurse Practitioner / Physician Assistant for their Neurosurgery Department.

About the opportunity:

• Start Date: As soon as credentialed
• Schedule:
  • 40 hours per week
  • Shift Options: 5x8-hour shifts or 4x10-hour shifts
  • Work Hours: Monday - Thursday, 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM
• On-Call: No

Responsibilities

• Primary Focus: Hospital consults with occasional OR cases
• Types of Cases: All neurosurgery (general, spine, endoscopic)
• Patient Load: 8-14 patients (mix of new consults and follow-ups)
• Anticipated Procedures/Surgeries: Fewer than 10

Qualifications:

• Active NJ License Required
• Board Certification/Eligibility: NCCPA
• Experience with EPIC EMR System
