UT Health East Texas is hiring a Full-Time Advanced Practice Provider (NP or PA) to join our Outpatient Neurology Team in Tyler, Texas. Neurology experience is preferred, but the team will train a new grad who is a team player and has an outstanding attitude.

Position Highlights:

Job Responsibilities

When the new hire begins expectation is 6-8 patients daily. Long Term goal is the provider will see 14-16 patients a day.The new hire will be working primarily as (TOC) transfer of care between clinic-hospital. Always emptying baskets, and helping with post stroke follow-up care with neurology patients.

Qualifications

Neurology experience is preferred, but the team will train a new grad who is a team player and has an outstanding attitude.

Mon-Fri 8am-5pm

Skills

Experienced APP Provider with expereince could see vagal nerve stimulator and deep brain stimulator follow-ups, small fiber skin biopsies, and botulinum toxin for migraine. Could treat dystonia, perform some selected nerve blocks, and perform lumbar punctures.
