Acute Care Advanced Practitioner needed in Baltimore to join our client's comprehensive Neuroscience APP team. The APP is responsible for 24/7 care for inpatients on Neurology and Neurosurgical services, under the guidance of multiple attending physicians. The APP will perform initial consultations, admissions, daily rounding and discharges, including patients in the Emergency department, medical/surgery, peri-operative and critical care setting. Will be first-assist in the operating room.
This position offers an opportunity to learn and care for patients on two different specialties of Neurology and Neurosurgery, with possibility to expand role into frequent operative first assist and work in the outpatient clinic.. The position offers a full-time, rotating days/nights/weekends work schedule. . Work with an experienced team of over 20 APP's. Competitive Salary. Malpractice insurance with tail. CME compensation of 40 hours and $1,500 per year. No call. 3 twelve hour shifts per week, for positive work/life balance. Education opportunities with weekly case conference. Weekly Lectures for category 1 CME credit. Neurology or Neurosurgical experience preferred, but not required. New Grads Welcome.
