Part-Time Pediatric Neurology Physician Assistant

Location: Bethesda, MD

Schedule: Part-time, Mondays and Fridays (8:00 AM 5:00 PM), flexible on the third day of the week


About the Practice

Our practice specializes in the diagnosis and management of a wide range of pediatric neurological conditions. With a patient-centered approach, we provide comprehensive care and advanced diagnostics, EEGs, to ensure the best possible outcomes for our patients.


Key Responsibilities

  • Diagnose and manage pediatric neurological conditions such as epilepsy, headaches/migraines, developmental delays, neuromuscular disorders, movement disorders, and concussion management.
  • Perform and interpret EEGs in collaboration with the physician.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
  • Educate patients and families on neurological conditions, treatments, and long-term management strategies.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide high-quality patient care.
  • Maintain accurate and thorough documentation in the electronic medical record (EMR) system.

Qualifications

  • Physician Assistant: PA-C certification.
  • Active Maryland license or willingness to obtain.
  • Required: Experience in Neurology and/or Pediatrics.
    • Will consider if you have experience in one and not the other
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
