I have a client in San Diego looking for 2 experienced Neonatal/Pediatric NP/PA for locum coverage starting in August. Here are some of the details:
Work Details:
• Support staff: Physicians, Surgeons, APP colleagues, and other administrative staff
Amount of coverage needed per month: 3 x 12, weekly
Full-time only, 3x12hr shifts per week, days/nights/weekends/holidays required
•Patients per day: TBD
•Patient population/age: Neonatal/Pediatric
•Department description: Pediatric/Neonatal AHP Department; Intensive Care Nursery
•EMR: EPIC
•Hospital bed size: 58
•Special procedures: May act as first assist in the operating room.
• Skills required: NP/PA will act as a member of the care team, taking primary responsibility for the safe delivery of care for inpatient newborns and infants. This team member will meet productivity expectations as set forth by the Division Chief, performing any duties related to patient care activities that are appropriate and clearly delineated.

•Board Certification: Yes, Neonatal and/or Pediatric
•State license required: Yes, State of CA
•DEA: Yes
• Certifications required: BLS, NRP. If NP, must have Certified Pediatric Nurse Practitioner – Acute Care (CPNP-AC). If PA, must have Masters in PA Studies or Masters in Medical Science.
•Must have submitted enrollment with CMS Medicare and Medicaid through the credentialing process by first clinical day.
•Minimum experience required: 1 – 2 years of neonatal/pediatric experience
Credentialing Timeframe: 60 – 90 days
