An established healthcare system in New York City is actively seeking a licensed Registered Nurse (RN) to join their growing team as a Clinical Risk Manager!
About the Opportunity
- Location: Bronx
- Schedule: Monday to Friday
- Hours: Standard business
- Specialty: Risk Management
- Reporting to: the Director of Risk Management and the Chief Quality Officer
Responsibilities:
The Clinical Risk Manager will be responsible for:
- Day-to-day risk management activities of the Quality & Risk Department
- Assisting in the planning, direction, and coordination of activities of risk identification, prevention, and evaluation
- Providing recommendations for action to prevent and/or reduce the frequency and severity of events to improve the quality of care and patient safety and reduce the risk of financial loss
- Investigating, managing, and analyzing risk management data in accordance with The Joint Commission and other regulatory agencies, including Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services and the New York State Department of Health
- Performing other duties, as needed
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of related work experience
- Bachelor's Degree
- NYS Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Solid assessment, clinical, and documentation skills
Desired Skills:
- Master's Degree
- Risk Management background
