Job Responsibilities:
- Treat patients in a Neurology inpatient Stroke Unit
- Participate in the hiring and training of new PA's
- Provide ongoing supervision, communication of quality standards, complete performance reviews and handle HR issues
- Assist in the development and implementation of policies and procedures
- Act as a liaison between nursing units, referring physicians, and house staff officers
- Administrative responsibilities include preparing the PA work schedules, assisting with payroll and arranging PA coverage.
- Responsible for providing inpatient coverage and supervising a PA team
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree required
- Master’s degree preferred
- 2+ years of experience
