Job Responsibilities:

• Treat patients in a Neurology inpatient Stroke Unit
• Participate in the hiring and training of new PA's
• Provide ongoing supervision, communication of quality standards, complete performance reviews and handle HR issues
• Assist in the development and implementation of policies and procedures
• Act as a liaison between nursing units, referring physicians, and house staff officers
• Administrative responsibilities include preparing the PA work schedules, assisting with payroll and arranging PA coverage.
• Responsible for providing inpatient coverage and supervising a PA team

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree required
• Master’s degree preferred
• 2+ years of experience
