Job Responsibilities:
- Treat interventional cardiology patients
- General supervision of PAs, assisting in reviewing performance, preparing work schedules
- Interviewing and training new PAs
- Liaison between department staff, nursing units, referring physicians, and other staff
- Assisting with administrative issues for all department PAs
- Participating in leadership activities and training.
- Schedule: 4 Days a Week, no nights, no weekends, no call
Job Requirements:
- Master's Degree
- Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant Program
- Current license to practice as a Physician Assistant (PA) by the New York State Department of Education
- Current NCCPA Certification from the National Commission on the Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA)
