A health services network that operates 10 outpatient healthcare centers and two mobile health units across Long Island and Westchester is looking to add a licensed Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to lead the Gender Affirming Care Program.

About the Opportunity:

• Specialty: Gender Affirming Care
• Setting: 100% Outpatient
• Location: Can be based on Long Island or Westchester
• Hours: Monday-Friday 9am-5pm

Responsibilities: The Director of Gender Affirming Care will be responsible for acting as part of the medical services team providing care to the transgender population. Role is a combination of clinical work and operations work in relationship to their gender affirming care role

• Primary care
• Transgender hormone services
• STD testing
• Pregnancy and prenatal services -Abortion services
• Family Planning
• Cancer Screenings

Qualifications:

• Licensed Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
• Experience working with the LGBTQ and Transgender population preferred
