We are seeking Physician Assistants and Nurse Practitioners for a Primary Care role in Swansea, MA. This will be a full-time role, providers will treat patients of all ages. Local candidates with an active MA State License will be considered first. Monday-Friday schedule. Flexible hours/days per week available. Have both a part-time and a full-time position available.

Responsibilities:

• Performs examinations and formulates treatment of patients including appropriate history, physical examinations laboratory and other diagnostic testing and referrals as necessary
• Counsels and educates patients regarding their physical or mental health or delegates such education to a competent source
• Recognizes complicated medical conditions that require referrals
• Manages chronic conditions
• Prescribes medications and other treatments
• Advises patients on how to prevent disease
• Refers patients to community resources and agencies
• Consults with his/her Collaborating Physician(s) as necessary

Qualifications:

• Active Massachusetts State License
• Ability to build rapport with patients
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
