Are you looking for an opportunity to grow your career with a company that can unleash your clinical talent? TeamHealth has an excellent opportunity for a full-time nurse practitioner (NP) or physician assistant (PA) with an interest in internal and adult geriatric medicine.
In this role, you will be responsible for driving high quality, safe and cost-effective care of patients in our local post-acute care communities. You will work with an interdisciplinary team rounding on all patients as medically necessary as required by CMS. This includes but is not limited to H&P, admission, progress, transfer, discharge, and acute/follow up. You will also work with the facility to transfer short term rehab patients to the level of care most appropriate for their medical needs; including returning to home, independent living centers, assisted living, and/or memory care.
Our NP/PAs work closely with hospice, palliative care, and home care agency to ensure a safe transition home. Being action oriented and having a "can do" attitude with a high standard of quality and safety in care is a top priority for our teams to help build a strong reputation in our community to support our patients.
Our compensation is a productivity-based model (Fee for Service) that offers you control to maximize your income potential. Expected compensation is estimated salary range of $106,000 to $127,000 annually with no cap on productivity income potential. This full-time role is 3.5 days per week with 2 days during the week and 2 days every other weekend, this opportunity is benefit eligible.
