Locum Internal Medicine NP/PA - Redington Fairview General Hospital - Skowhegan, ME
Client Current Situation: Maternity Leave Coverage
Top Hourly Rate + All travel expenses (Fully furnished apartment)
*** Minimum 3 years of experience as an NP/PA with direct experience in an Internal Medicine office, good experience with chronic illnesses. The Provider will not see children, only a few teens, this is an adult medicine position only, so they need sufficient IM outpatient experience. ***
Facility Type: Family Practice Clinic associated with Hospital
Provider Needed: NP or PA
Specialty: IM (mostly adults, some teens, NO peds)
Start: December 30th
End: July 11, 2025
LOA: 6 months
Credentialing: 2-3 weeks
Work Schedule: Monday-Thursday 7:30AM-4:30PM, Friday 7:30A-12P, 30 min lunches
Patient Volume: 12-16 PPD, only 18+ (no kids/peds) only a few teens + adults
Procedures: Standard Family Practice, cold cough flu, etc. Chronic illnesses, IM outpatient experience. Treating majority teens and adults, need to be familiar working with complicated illnesses
EMR: Meditech
License: ME license preferred BUT WILLING TO WAIT FOR LICENSE
PA license 8-12 weeks
NP license 5-8 weeks
Certifications: BLS, DEA
Relevant Exp: General outpatient Internal Medicine experience
