Health Clinic in northeastern California is seeking a Primary Care Physician Associate to join their team dedicated to making a difference in the lives in their community.
This is a strictly outpatient, primary care practice setting, in a very APP friendly environment with opportunities to grow. The schedule is Monday through Friday 8-5, with the option to work 4 – 10’s. Typical patient volume is 13-16 patients per 8-hour shift or 20 patients in a 10-hour shift. You will have the opportunity to see patients of all age groups.
Clinic offers primary and preventive care, obstetrics, gynecology, urgent care, dental services, Telemedicine, health/nutrition/childbirth education and Women, Infants and Children (WIC) program services. It employs Family Practice Physicians, an OB/GYN Physician, Certified Physician Assistants, Family Nurse Practitioners, Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Dentists.

The city is located in beautiful Northern California, an hour northwest of Reno, NV and is a very attractive and growing part of California, boasting the most affordable real estate in California. The population is growing as more and more relocate from the big city, looking for a small town feel surrounded by the beautiful mountains. The town offers pleasant riverside walks, hearty dining and a welcoming atmosphere.
The area offers an outdoor recreation paradise encouraging camping, hiking, fishing, snowmobiling, snow shoeing and cross-country skiing. Eagle Lake, the second largest natural lake in California, is located just north and is home to the world-famous Eagle Lake Trout, a species entirely unique to the lake. These especially large trout average 3-5 lbs and attract fishing enthusiasts from around the world. Camping facilities, boat launch, marina, swimming beach, and picnic areas are located around the lake’s shoreline.
