Maxim Healthcare is seeking all qualified Cardiac & Hospitalist Physician Assistants to assist with a locums assignment with our Client in DuBois, PA.

Requirements and Brief Description Below:

• Duties: Daily rounding patients(25 Beds
• Patient Census: 5-10 per Day
• Credentialing services provided
• Weekly Compensation
• 100% Malpractice Covered
• Worksite Type: OR, Rounding, Clinic
• Schedule: O.R. Days/Clinic Days/Rounding: This is rotated with the extender group, rounding with Surgeons
• Shift: 7am-5pm ten hour shifts, rounding every third weekend and call every third day.
• Staff Information: 3 surgeons, 2 PA’s and 1 CRNP
• Patient Information: 3 OR cases a day includes, cardiac, thoracic and vascular/ office average 10/floor 10-12
• Required Procedures/Skills: EVH System – Maquet: CABG, TAVR, AAA, AVR, MVR
• Bedside procedures: CABG, AAA, AVR, thoracic and vascular
• Certifications: ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support; BLS - Basic Life Support
• EMR: Cerner inpatient GE outpatient
