Inpatient Nocturnist opportunities: Oroville, CA - Located 20m to Chico and 65m to Sacramento Position Details

  • Seeking to add two dedicated and compassionate Nocturnist Advanced Practice Provider (APP) Hospitalist.
  • Position Type: Full-Time, Night Shifts
  • The APP Hospitalist will work closely with our medical staff to provide comprehensive care to hospitalized patients during night shifts.
  • This role is essential in ensuring continuous and high-quality patient care throughout the night.
Key Responsibilities: Provide direct patient care, including assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and management of acute and chronic conditions. Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans. Perform procedures as necessary, within the scope of practice and hospital protocols. Monitor and respond to changes in patients conditions, ensuring timely and appropriate interventions. Document patient care activities accurately and promptly in the electronic medical record system. Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of clinical protocols and guidelines. Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding medical conditions and treatment plans. Certification as an Acute Care Nurse Practitioner (ACNP) or Physician Assistant-Certified (PA-C). Minimum of 2 years of experience in a hospitalist or acute care setting preferred. Strong clinical skills and the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
