Qualifications:

  • Board-certified or board-eligible physician assistant.
  • Hospitalist experience preferred.
Practice in the Heart of the Community

Flexible Scheduling:

  • Flexible scheduling is available. Full-time positions follow a 7-days-on, 7-days-off rotation.
  • Shifts for the swing position are scheduled from 11:00 AM to 11:00 PM.

Key Responsibilities:

  • As a swing clinician, your responsibility will encompass completing approximately nine admissions to the inpatient floors.
  • Our hospital has a closed ICU, managed by Sound’s intensivist team. Our team performs geographic rounding, and no procedures are required.
  • Our hospitalist team plays a pivotal role in the rapid response team, and codes are managed by the intensivist team. All team members are certified in basic life support and advanced cardiovascular life support. There are no procedural requirements.
  • We hold weekly huddles and monthly team meetings in addition to lunch-and-learn sessions to stay current on the latest developments in the field of medicine, at the hospital, and with Sound.
  • We work in Meditech Expand, a web-based system, with access to our internal informatics platform.
  • We are entertaining candidates looking for full-time, part-time, and PRN shifts.
