Local Team Collaboration:
- Join our close-knit team of 14 physicians and six advanced practice providers (APPs) at MUSC Health – Orangeburg Regional Medical Center.
- Work alongside a close-knit team in a 286-bed facility with strong physician support and camaraderie.
Qualifications:
- The ICU is co-managed, and no procedures are required.
- The full-time acute care physician assistant position requires at least six months of hospital medicine experience.
Practice in the Heart of the Community
Flexible Scheduling:
- Work-life balance with flexible schedules, including day shifts (7 on/7 off, 7 AM – 7 PM) and swing shifts (7 on/7 off, 5 PM – 5 AM).
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive inpatient care, including conducting rounds and consultations and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure high-quality patient outcomes.
- Mentor and support new team members, fostering professional growth and a cohesive care team environment.
- Utilize EPIC EMR for efficient documentation and seamless patient tracking.
- Work closely with radiology, lab, anesthesia, orthopedic, vascular, cath lab, and surgical services, all available 24/7 to support patient care.
