**NP/PA Post Acute Care Openings in Spokane, WA** Seeking an NP/PA do primary care rounding in skilled nursing facilities in the Spokane, Washington, area. * Full-time * Flexible schedule options for work/life balance * Monday - Friday * One week on/one week off * 4-5 day work week * Our compensation is a productivity-based model (Fee for Service) that offers you control to maximize your income potential. Expected compensation is estimated salary range of $90,000 to $161,000 annually. * Full-time clinicians are eligible for an excellent comprehensive benefits package to include 401(k) plan, health, dental and vision insurance, long and short-term disability, FSA, group term life insurance, Flex Time bank, and employee assistance program. **Responsibilities** * Perform primary care in a post-acute setting for short term and long-term patients * Manage chronic disease, diagnose illnesses and medical conditions, and implement plan of care * Order and interpret lab results * Prescribe and monitor medications * Consult with physicians and coordinate patient care with other healthcare practitioners * Educate patients and their caregivers on coping skills to handle chronic and age-related conditions * Build relationships with your patients, patients' family members, and facility staff to facilitate effective treatment delivery * Promote healthy lifestyle changes **Requirements:** * New grads are encouraged to apply * Experience as a nurse practitioner in a primary care setting a plus but not required * Post-acute care experience a plus, but not required * Active and unrestricted Washington NP or PA license required or application in progress * Active and unrestricted Washington DEA required or application in progress Known as the Lilac City, Spokane is just 20 miles west of Idaho and 110 miles south of Canada, It is situated between the Rockies and Cascade Mountains, which protect it from typical Pacific Northwest weather patterns.
