**APP Hospitalist Opening in Illinois**
-Located in Canton, IL.
-Type: Full-Time, permanent.
-Shift: 3rd Shift.
-Hours: 72 hrs biweekly; 10:00pm-9:00am; Days Varied.

The Quality Coordinator of Inpatient Care (QCIC) works in collaboration with physicians and ED Advanced Practice Provider (APRN/PA) to manage care for hospital inpatients (IP). The APP reports directly to the Vice President of Quality and works closely with the Director of Quality & Utilization Review.
**Requirements**
-Graduate of an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse or Physician Assistant Family Physician accredited program.
-Minimum of 1-year hospital or critical care clinical experience as an IP APP provider preferred.
-Licensed as an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse or Physician Assistant in the State of Illinois.
-BLS certification through AHA required.
-ACLS or willingness to obtain within 3 months.
-PALS or willingness to obtain within 3 months.
-ATLS or willingness to obtain within 3 months.

-Canton population is 15,000. Location provides choice of city, small town, or rural setting.
-Close proximity to Chicago, St. Louis, and Indianapolis. Peoria Regional airport with daily flights to most major cities.
-Community is stable, with recently renovated downtown and new medical device manufacturing facility (one of the largest developments in central Illinois). Winter, water, and outdoor sports (hunting and fishing paradise) are our specialty.
