Locums – San Antonio, Texas, NP/PA Nocturnist Opening
Clinical Role:

- Start: Dec. 2024 – Ongoing Need
- Schedule: On-site, call coverage, weekends, nights – nights 7p-7a on site entire shift
- EMR training done by facility, shadow shift can be arranged if needed
- Must be NP/PA Acute Care
- Preferred experience, will take new grads at certain sites
- Case Logs: 12 months must have inpatient encounters unless new grad
- Beds in Facility: 100-700 depending on site
- Census: Depending on site, if at smaller hospital then 10 admits with cross cover of current inpatient census 70 patients (physician is taking home call to field admit calls and forwards to APP on site to see). Bigger hospitals’ major responsibility is cross cover floor/ICU calls for inpatient census, and helping with 3-4 admit
