- Full Time Permanent Hospitalist Position for Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
- Work with a team of experienced and highly skilled physicians (there is a physician always on call) and a Nurse Practitioner working alternate shifts.
- This is a critical access facility with 25 total staffed beds.
- 12 hour shifts from 7:00 am to 7:00 pm (in house) with night calls on these shifts from 7:00 pm to 7:00 am-Physician on call responsible for admissions.
- 5-7 days on; 5-7 days off. Weekends and holidays will be split with alternating mid-level.
- Average daily patient encounters: 10-12
- Average nightly calls: 5
- Three year contract subject to renewal at the end of term.
- CME Allowance: $1500
- 401K Plan (non-matched)
- Two open ICU Beds
- Competitive salary offered based on experience.
- Specialty backup includes Cardiology, Gastroenterology, Surgery, and ENT.
- EMR - Cerner
- WVA licensed a strong preference
- Minimum 2 years of inpatient - preferable Hospitalist experience
