Position Overview:

• Role: Advanced Practice Provider (APP) - Acute Care
• Specialty: NICU, with a focus on stabilization and transport
• Start Date: ASAP
• Contract Length: 6-12 months
• Shifts: 7a-7p or 7p-7a; no on-call duties

Work Details:

• Skills Required:
  • Minimum 3 years of Advanced Practice Provider experience in NICU
  • Experience with neonatal respiratory ventilation
  • Ability to work with transport vehicles (ambulance, helicopter, airplane)
  • Adaptability to non-conventional motions, noise, vibration, fumes, and extreme temperatures
• Main Procedure: Stabilize and ship neonatal patients
• Work Environment: Trauma Level II Hospital

Travel and Licensing:

• Certification:
  • BC CPNP-AP with transport experience
  • BLS, PALS, NRP
• License: Active NE license required; client will assist with licensing
• 2 years of Transport Experience
• Credentialing Timeframe: 45-60 days
