Position Overview:
- Role: Advanced Practice Provider (APP) - Acute Care
- Specialty: NICU, with a focus on stabilization and transport
- Start Date: ASAP
- Contract Length: 6-12 months
- Shifts: 7a-7p or 7p-7a; no on-call duties
Work Details:
- Skills Required:
- Minimum 3 years of Advanced Practice Provider experience in NICU
- Experience with neonatal respiratory ventilation
- Ability to work with transport vehicles (ambulance, helicopter, airplane)
- Adaptability to non-conventional motions, noise, vibration, fumes, and extreme temperatures
- Main Procedure: Stabilize and ship neonatal patients
- Work Environment: Trauma Level II Hospital
Travel and Licensing:
- Certification:
- BC CPNP-AP with transport experience
- BLS, PALS, NRP
- License: Active NE license required; client will assist with licensing
- 2 years of Transport Experience
- Credentialing Timeframe: 45-60 days
