TeamHealth is hiring for a nurse practitioner (NP) or physician assistant (PA) to do primary care rounding in skilled nursing facilities in the Spokane, Washington, area on a PRN basis. You will have the flexibility to work when you are availability and the ability to set up your preferred start time. As an advanced practice provider in the skilled nursing facility setting your will experience:
Our compensation is a productivity-based model (Fee for Service) that offers you control to maximize your income potential. Expected compensation is estimated salary range of $26,000 to $50,000 annually. This PRN role is not benefit eligible.

- Perform primary care in a post-acute setting for short term and long-term patients
- Manage chronic disease, diagnose illnesses and medical conditions, and implement plan of care
- Order and interpret lab results
- Prescribe and monitor medications
- Consult with physicians and coordinate patient care with other healthcare practitioners
- Educate patients and their caregivers on coping skills to handle chronic and age-related conditions
- Build relationships with your patients, patients' family members, and facility staff to facilitate effective treatment delivery
- Promote healthy lifestyle changes
- Minimum of 6 months experience as an NP or PA
- Post-acute care experience a plus, but not required
- Active and unrestricted Washington NP or PA license required or application in progress
- Active and unrestricted Washington DEA required or application in progress
