Seeking a compassionate and dedicated Advanced Practice Provider (APP) to join our Palliative Care team.
This position offers flexible scheduling with the opportunity to work either five 8-hour shifts or four 10-hour shifts, Monday through Friday during daytime hours.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct 6-8 patient visits per day, following industry standards for Palliative Care.
- Provide consultative services within the hospital, addressing new referrals and follow-up visits daily.
- Collaborate with patients and their families to discuss goals of care, ensuring their needs and wishes are understood and respected.
- Manage pain and other distressing symptoms to improve patient comfort and quality of life.
Position Highlights:
- No after-hours or weekend call requirements.
- Work as part of a dedicated Palliative Care team committed to providing compassionate, patient-centered care.
Qualifications:
- Active Missouri Nurse Practitioner License or Physician Assistant License
- Experience in palliative care, hospice, or related fields preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to support patients and their families through complex healthcare decisions.
