Position Summary: A dynamic healthcare opportunity awaits as a Palliative Care Advanced Practice Provider in Grand Forks, ND. This role involves collaborating with physicians to provide comprehensive patient care, managing acute and chronic health conditions, and educating patients and their families to optimize understanding and care outcomes. The ideal candidate will possess strong clinical skills, compassion, and the ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive medical histories and physical assessments.
Develop and implement care plans for acute and chronic health conditions.
Provide patient and family education tailored to individual needs.
Order and interpret diagnostic tests, ensuring timely communication of results.
Prescribe medications and perform procedures within the scope of practice.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure continuity of care.
Act as a resource for healthcare team members, patients, and families.
Participate in community and organizational health promotion initiatives.
Qualifications:
Certification as a Nurse Practitioner
Current drivers license with an acceptable driving record.
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (within 90 days of start).
Preferred:
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS).
A minimum of 1 year of related experience.
