A hospital in Rockland County is currently seeking a licensed Nurse Practitioner (NP) to join their hospice team. In this role, the Nurse Practitioner (NP) will work collaborative with the physician team in the oncology department to provide palliative care to patients.

Responsibilities:
Responsibilities:
The Nurse Practitioner (NP) will:
- Works closely with physician in the hospital's hematology/oncology team
- Manage pain and other symptoms through pharmacological intervention and non-pharmacological intervention
- Provide educational support to patients and families through diagnosis, prognosis and care options
- Faciliate advance care planning discussions and help patients express goals of care
- Perform other duties, as needed
Job Qualifications:
- NYS licensed Nurse Practitioner (NP)
- Experience as an NP in Oncology, hospice or palliative care
Desired Skills:
- EPIC EMR experience preferred
- CHPN is a plus
