Gastroenterology - Physician Assistant, Nurse Practitioner

Expanding gastroenterology team in the Rockville, Maryland area is seeking a physician assistant or nurse practitioner to join their team! Work alongside a large team of physicians and APPs and receive excellent training and mentorship. Enjoy a stable Monday-Friday schedule with no weekends and no on-call duties, and build rapport with your patients as you guide them on their health journey.

Responsibilities:

• Full-time permanent position - Gastroenterology
• Monday-Friday schedule
• 8 AM to 4 PM
• No weekends, no on-call duties, no hospital rounding
• 100% outpatient clinic role
• GI diagnostic strategies, colon cancer prevention, nonsurgical cancer intervention, nutrition consultations, remote monitoring, etc.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience as a physician assistant or nurse practitioner in gastroenterology or other relevant fields
• Recent graduates with gastroenterology rotations and interest in GI
• Active Maryland Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner License (or ability to obtain license)
• EMR proficient
• Ability to build rapport with new patients and established patients
• Ability to adapt to new environments
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
