Your Role as a Gastroenterology Physician Assistant:

• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments - Diagnose, treat, and develop personalized care plans.
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests - Includes lab work, imaging, and GI-specific procedures.
• Educate patients & families - Provide treatment guidance, preventative care strategies, and disease management education.
• Prescribe medications & propose treatments - Manage both acute and chronic gastroenterology conditions.
• Perform minor GI procedures - Based on experience and physician guidance.
• Maintain accurate electronic medical records - Ensure compliance with healthcare standards.
• Advance professional knowledge - Stay at the forefront of GI medicine through continuing education and research.

What We’re Looking For:

• Active Florida Physician Assistant license - Required.
• Master’s degree in Physician Assistant studies - Required.
• Clinical experience in gastroenterology, primary care, internal medicine, or emergency medicine - Preferred.
• Strong diagnostic & assessment skills - Comfortable managing complex GI cases.
• Excellent communication & interpersonal skills - Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
