Your Role as a Gastroenterology Physician Assistant:
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments – Diagnose, treat, and develop personalized care plans.
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests – Includes lab work, imaging, and GI procedures.
- Educate patients – Provide treatment guidance, preventative care strategies, and disease management education.
- Perform minor GI procedures – Based on experience and physician guidance.
- Maintain accurate medical records – Ensure compliance with healthcare documentation standards.
What We’re Looking For:
- Active Florida Physician Assistant license – Required.
- Clinical experience in gastroenterology, primary care, internal medicine, or emergency medicine – Preferred.
- Strong diagnostic & assessment skills – Comfortable managing acute and chronic GI conditions.
