A network of outpatient practices in New York is currently seeking a licensed Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to join their Gastroenterology team in Uniondale, Long Island
About the Opportunity:
- Schedule: Monday to Friday
- Hours: Office is open 8-6 or 8-5
- Specialty: Gastroenterology/ GI
- Patient Population: Adults
Responsibilities:
The Gastroenterology NP or PA will:
- Conduct comprehensive initial patient assessments and perform thorough physician examinations focused on gastrointestinal health
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests including but not limited to lab work, imaging studies, and endoscopic procedures
- Develop and implement patient treatment plans in collaboration with supervising physicians
- Provide patient education
- Perform outpatient procedures as required
Qualifications:
- 1+ years of experience in an outpatient or physician practice setting
- NYS Nurse Practitioner (NP) license or Physician Assistant (PA)
