Practice Information: Our offices is conveniently located in the Hampton Roads area of Virginia. Our team of gastroenterology specialists’ cares for people with all types of GI conditions. We are experts in the diagnosis and treatment of a wide range of digestive diseases and disorders, including problems in the esophagus, stomach, intestines, colon, liver, gallbladder, and pancreas.
Our providers perform a range of endoscopic outpatient procedures in our office, including esophagogastroduodenoscopy (upper endoscopy), colonoscopy, and banding procedures. Our office’s endoscopy unit is certified by the Accreditation Association for Ambulatory Health Care, ensuring that the care we provide meets national quality standards.
Our providers focus on educating patients about their GI conditions and the treatment options available, from medications and leading-edge, minimally invasive procedures to diet modifications to reduce symptoms.
Position Information: Candidate requirements:
- Active PA license in the state of Virginia
- Certification as an PA with prescriptive authority

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $90,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year

Job Responsibilities
Monday – Friday care center outpatient consults and follow-ups
Examine, diagnose, and coordinate treatment plans for patients with acute illnesses and exacerbations of chronic disease (under the supervision of physicians)
Order, interpret, and make diagnoses of lab tests and imaging scans
Record progress notes, instruct and counsel patients, and modify treatment plans as needed
Write/refill prescriptions appropriate for diagnosis
Review patient results, including pathology
Document patient information in gGastro in a timely manner
Other duties related to the specialty of gastroenterology as assigned
Average patient load 18 patients per day
Qualifications
Certification as an PA with prescriptive authority
