Job Summary
We are currently in search of a dedicated and skilled Nurse Practitioner / Physician Assistant for our Primary Care facility in Kingman, AZ. This role focuses on providing direct patient care in a dynamic and supportive environment. The individual should be passionate about primary care, with proficiency in preventive care, diagnosis, and treatment of both acute and chronic disorders. The position calls for a healthcare provider who has a patient-centered approach and is committed to achieving the best possible health outcomes for each patient.
Job Duties & Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive, direct care to patients, diagnosing and managing both acute and chronic conditions.
- Perform comprehensive health assessments and develop treatment plans in collaboration with patients and their families.
- Administer various medical tests, interpret test results, and convey the findings to patients and their families.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to deliver integrated health care services.
- Provide health promotion, disease prevention, wellness education, and counseling to individuals and families.
- Prescribe medications following strict guidelines and procedures.
- Document patient care in accordance with accepted medical and legal standards as well as regulatory and company requirements.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of the care plan and communicate progress effectively with the patient and the healthcare team.
- Develop and maintain successful working relationships with healthcare providers, staff, and administrators.
- Maintain current knowledge and skills through continuous professional development, including participating in educational opportunities and professional organizations.
- Comply with all federal, state, and local legal and professional requirements.
- Be available for on-call duties and possibly handle emergencies.
- Strictly maintain patient integrity and confidentiality according to HIPAA.
Prerequisites / License & Certification Requirements
- Arizona NP/PA License (or able to obtain)
- Completion of US Based NP/PA Program (Excluding Puerto Rico)
- Ability to commute to Kingman, AZ
