Primary Care Physician Assistant Family Medicine

Location: Virginia Beach, VA

Practice: Blackwood Family Medicine

Schedule: Full-time or Part-time (minimum 3 days per week)

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide full-spectrum primary care services for patients of all ages.
  • Diagnose, treat, and manage acute and chronic conditions.
  • Conduct physical exams, preventive screenings, and wellness visits.
  • Educate patients on disease prevention, lifestyle modifications, and overall wellness.
  • Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in electronic medical records.

Qualifications

  • Board Certified Physician Assistant (PA-C).
  • Active Virginia PA license or willingness to obtain.
  • Minimum of 2 years post-graduate experience in a primary care setting required (no new graduates at this time).
  • Strong commitment to teamwork and collaborative patient care.
  • Excellent communication skills and dedication to patient-centered care.
