About this position:
This specific position is for dedicated On-Call provider to provide overnight support. This position is ideal for providers looking for flexible work opportunities while making a meaningful impact. As the on-call provider, you will
· Respond to patient needs
· Coordinate care
· Ensure excellent service during overnight hours.
· Two shifts available:
1. Weekend coverage (48weeks)
2. Weekday coverage (50weeks) + 2 weekends/year - 2 positions available.

Job Responsibilities

1. Respond to patient and facility calls promptly.
2. Assess, triage, and manage patient care needs as required over the phone. When necessary:
a) Obtain, compile and record patient medical data, including health history, progress notes and results of physical examination.
b) Administer or order diagnostic tests, such as x-ray, electrocardiogram, and laboratory tests.
c) Prescribe therapy or medication.
d) Instruct and educate patients about prescribed therapeutic regimens, emotional problems of daily living, and health maintenance.
3. Coordinate with healthcare teams to ensure seamless care.
4. Document all patient interactions and care provided accurately.
5. Provide professional and compassionate support.

Qualifications

Requirement:
1. Must be a U.S. citizen or hold an appropriate Visa to apply.
2. Must be eligible for or hold an unrestricted license in the state you choose to practice in.
a) WA (Washington)
b) AK (Alaska)
c) OR (Oregon) - possible coverage
d) NV (Nevada) - possible coverage
3. Possess or be eligible for a DEA license, NPI number, and have prescriptive authority.
4. Board eligible/certified by the time of employment.
5. Must be eligible to participate in Medicare/Medicaid programs.

Working Hours

Standard shift:
1. Covering overnight calls:
a) Weekends only (48 weeks)
b) Weekday (Monday-Friday for 50 weeks) only with 2 weekends/year

Skills

Required Education and Preferred Experience:
1. Must have graduated from an approved PA-C/ARNP program.
2. Experience in primary care, hospital, or skilled nursing home or equivalent preferred, but new graduates from respective PA-C or ARNP program are encouraged to apply.
