Nurse Practitioner / Physician Assistant
Largo, FL
We are seeking a full-time primary care Nurse Practitioner /
Physician Assistant to work in our practice. The ideal candidate will have clinical
primary care experience. This is an 100% outpatient position with office hours from 8am to 5pm, M-F. The incoming candidate should be
comfortable caring for a geriatric patient population.

Nurse Practitioner / Physician Assistant -
Responsibilities
- Responsible
for the delivery of patient care in their area of specialty through the
process of assessment; evaluation; diagnosing; recognition and prevention
of adverse events; planning; and implementation.
- Performs
responsibilities in four areas of practice: clinician, teacher,
leadership, and professional development.
- Collaborates with other professional disciplines to
ensure safe; effective and efficient patient care delivery; and the
achievement of desired patient outcomes.
- Continuously
monitors quality patient care through excellence in customer service and
performance improvement that demonstrate positive outcomes in patient
care.
- Provides
leadership in the practice location.
- Nurse
Practitioners (NP) and Physician Assistants (PA) are required to function
consistent with Florida Law
- Provides
treatment for less urgent acute conditions as well as manages chronic
conditions and provides care coordination.
Nurse Practitioner / Physician Assistant - Requirements
- Graduate
from a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program required
- Preferably 3 Years of experience working in a primary
care setting
- State of Florida License Requirements
- Bilingual English/Spanish- Strongly preferred
- Managed Care, Medicare Advantage & HEDIS coding experience
- Bilingual required
