We are looking for a motivated Physician Assistant to join our medical group in the Bridgewater, NJ area. We have 4 clinics across Somerset County, and we are looking for a Physician Assistant who is willing to provide coverage amongst the locations (Somerset, Watchung, Bridgewater, and Branchburg). The Physician Assistant will collaborate with PM&R/Pain Management & Chiropractic Physicians in the ordering of Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, OMT and Acupuncture to provide comprehensive multidisciplinary orthopedic treatment care plans. Position requires a variety of clinical and technical skills involved with coordination of care, workup, diagnosis, treatment, administration of various injection-based procedures, DME fitting & dispensing, J-Tech ROM evaluations, OMT, strapping/splinting and consultative services.

Duties:
- Perform comprehensive and problem-focused history and physical examinations on new and reactivated patients
- Effectively discuss diagnoses and treatment options with patients, influencing them towards medically necessary treatments
- Appropriately address non-compliant patients and remove barriers to care
- Interpret laboratory and diagnostic procedures to establish a working diagnosis
- Implement therapeutic intervention for specific conditions
- Order and/or perform diagnostic procedures and studies such as: EMG/NCV, Diagnostic US, X-ray exams, special exams (CT, MRI, bone scans, etc)
- Perform diagnostic and therapeutic procedures such as: DME/Brace fitting, dispensing and follow-up, Peripheral joint injections, joint and bursa aspirations/injections, tendon sheath injections, trigger point injections, PRP/ADSC/BMAC harvest, preparation and grafting
- Order, prescribe, dispense and administer medication
- Order, prescribe, dispense and administer orthosis, orthotics, braces, and other orthopedic devices
- Conduct post-operative follow-up, writing orders and performing admission and discharge functions in the ASC setting
- Timely preparation and update of electronic patient records and billing submission
- Collaborate closely with our team of MD’s, orthopedic surgeons, physical therapists, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care and ensure comprehensive treatment approaches
- Graduation from an accredited PA program
- PA license in NJ
- DEA license
- Willingness to travel to our 4 offices as needed
- Full time (Mon- Fri) No Weekends
