**A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A PRIMARY CARE PA / PHYSICIAN ASSISTANT**
As a Primary Care PA / Physician Assistant, you provide excellent medical care and help our patients live their healthiest lives. You love being a part of our exceptional adult primary care private practice with its traditional outpatient setting. Each day, you perform examinations and assessments, listening carefully to your patients' concerns. A skilled communicator and critical thinker, you ask essential questions to accurately diagnose conditions and determine the best treatment options. When necessary, you refer patients to the appropriate specialist. Your gentle but honest approach instills trust in your patients, and they appreciate your compassionate bedside manner.
You thrive in our team-oriented environment, working under the direction of a physician and collaborating with other skilled professionals. As someone who understands the importance of educational outreach, you occasionally participate in activities such as health fairs, classes, and community events. **QUALIFICATIONS FOR A PRIMARY CARE PA / PHYSICIAN ASSISTANT**
Certificate of completion from an accredited registered nurse practitioner (ARNP) or PA program
Eligibility for an unrestricted Florida ARNP or PA license
Eligibility for a Florida pharmacy and drug enforcement agency (DEA) license
Eligibility for our medical malpractice insurance
Basic computer skills
1 or more years of managed care experience preferred
Experience in a primary care role is preferred. Bilingual skills would be a plus! The ability to perform minor dermatologic procedures and well-woman exams would be an asset.
