Physician Assistant OR Nurse Practitioner Fresno, CA
$70-$80 per hour
We are looking for a motivated, enthusiastic Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to join our outpatient private practice in Fresno, CA. The incoming provider will be responsible for looking at the body as a whole and assisting in the creation of treatment plans for our patients to receive the most comprehensive care. Ideally, the incoming PA/NP is compassionate, caring, optimistic, self-motivated, gets excited about a challenge with a willingness to learn. Must be a team player who has a genuine interest in helping others.

Duties:
  • Patient exam/evaluations (HPI, medical history, review pertinent medical records/imaging)
  • Evaluate clinical data
  • Consultation with the MD and rest of the multidisciplinary team
  • Diagnosis and Treatment (to include Joint injection/trigger point injections)
  • Order and review appropriate tests
  • Provide accurate and useful diagnostic information
  • Patient education on diagnosis, treatment plan options and expectations, patient goals, and post care treatments
  • Documentation- accurate and timely
  • Help manage Direction of patient care
  • Monitor patients for improvements and set back, modify treatments and services as needed
  • Collaboration and effective communication with the clinical and administrative staff to ensure comprehensive patient care and productivity
  • Oversee management of Medical Assistants
Qualifications:
  • Graduation from an Accredited NP/PA program
  • PA/NP license in CA
  • Experience in Joint Injection/Trigger Point injection, starting IVs and use of US guidance is preferred
  • Experience in Ortho/Physical Medicine and Rehab, or Family Medicine preferred
  • 2 years clinical experience as a PA/NP required
Salary:
  • $70-$80 per hour
Schedule:
  • Full time (Mon-Fri with Friday office hours ending at 1)
