We are currently looking for a nurse practitioner or physician assistant to join our primary care practice in Sugar Land, TX.

Position Details:

  • Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
  • Patient Volume: Average 16-20 patients per day
  • Call Rotation: Minimal, shared with another office every 5-6 weekends

Qualifications:

  • Experience Level: Preference for experienced candidates who are efficient and adept at managing patient charts. Charts documentation completed and closed/locked within 24-48 hours is must.
  • Skills: Strong clinical acumen in managing both acute and chronic conditions.

Scope of Practice:

  • Patient Demographics: Primarily adult patients, including a fair portion of Medicare. Occasional teen patients, though rare.
  • Services Provided: Acute and chronic care, Annual Wellness Visits (AWV), sick visits, and physicals. The role involves both concierge and insurance-based patient care.
  • Procedural Skills: Experience with Bio-T pelleting (incentive offered for this procedure).
  • Appointment Time: 15 minutes for follow-ups, 30 minutes for physicals/expanded visits, and 45 minutes for AWVs (may be restructured to 20/40 minutes). Will be 20-40 eff 1/1/2024
