NP/PA - Primary Care opening in Southern IL - Located in Litchfield, IL; 45m to Springfield - Full-time, permanent position - Weekly schedule: Monday - Friday - Expected hours: 32 36 per week Position Details: We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our Walk-In Clinic team. As a NP/PA, you will provide comprehensive primary care to patients of all ages, focusing on management of acute illnesses and injuries. Your expertise and dedication will contribute to the overall well-being of our patients. - BE/BC in Pediatrics, Primary Care, or Urgent Care - Acute Care Clinic - In-person - Outpatient Position Responsibilities: - Conduct thorough patient assessments, including medical history, physical examinations, and diagnostic tests - Develop and implement individualized care plans based on patient needs and medical guidelines - Perform minor procedures - Prescribe medications - Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated and comprehensive care, as necessary - Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records using electronic health record systems - Stay current with advancements in healthcare practices and regulations Requirements: - Valid Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant license in IL - Master's degree - Certification from an accredited institution - Proficiency in ICD-10 coding system - Minimum 3 years of experience as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in a clinical setting - Strong clinical skills with the ability to provide high-quality patient care - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and colleagues - Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team Benefits: - Compensation beginning at $50 - $60/hr - 401(k) - 401(k) matching - Dental insurance - Health insurance - Health savings account - Paid time off - Professional development assistance - Vision insurance
