FNP, PMHNP or PA opening in Vermont Located in Rutland, VT - Manchester, NH 120m; Albany, NY 90m Full-time, permanent opening Hospital Employed Overview: - We are looking for a full-time, Advanced Practice Provider (FNP, PMHNP or PA) in our Outpatient Opioid Treatment Program (OTP) - Our program offers medication for opioid use disorder (MOUD) along with individual and group therapy, and case management to support recovery - Other services offered include pre-screening, initial and annual medical assessment, assessment of co-occurring disorders, on-site urinalysis collection, disease education, and recovery treatment planning - Patient focused, team-based environment - The NP/PA will work under the supervision of the OTP Medical Director - Schedule will be on site, weekdays 6am-1pm - This is a 0.9 position with weekends and holidays off and no on-call requirements outside work hours - Provides healthcare services to patients by following established standards, procedures, and practices in their area of specialty under the direction of the Medical Director and/or physician. - Obtains detailed patient history and performs physical or psychological examinations. - Performs or orders diagnostic procedures such as X-rays, electrocardiograms, laboratory tests, and interprets results. - Administers therapeutic procedures including injections, immunizations, suturing, and wound care. - Assists physicians during surgery or medical procedures. - Instructs patients on prescribed therapeutic regimens, home care, and health maintenance. - Evaluates outcomes of direct patient care and consults with other specialists as required. - Maintains required records and writes progress notes on patient charts regarding status, treatments, and procedures. - Provides preventative health care services to long-term patients and arranges consultations and referrals. Facility: 144-bed hospital located in Rutland, Vermont. It is the largest community hospital in the state and the second-largest hospital overall.
