Nurse Practitioner Opening in Grants, NM Full Time Permanent Position Albuquerque 80m Seeking APRN mid-level provider to join team in Grant, NM Overview: - Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, providing accurate assessment, diagnosis, treatment, consultation, education, and follow-up care to patients ranging in age from newborns to geriatric OR 18 yrs of age to geriatrics - ABilingual a preferred, but not required (English/Spanish) - Proper maintenance of records is required under the direction of the Supervisory Physician, along with any other reasonable and proper duties assigned. - Examine patients and record history - Adhere to proper charting protocols - Collaborate with physicians and other health care professionals to prepare a comprehensive care plan - Order or execute tests or images as needed - Submit health care plan and goals of individual patients for periodic review by the physician - Analyze test results, diagnose, and report to patients - Administer or prescribe treatment and medications - Promote health by advising patients on diet, hygiene, and disease prevention - Inoculate and vaccinate as required - Refer patients to specialists as needed for their well-being - Perform minor surgeries - Report deaths and contagious diseases to governmental authorities - Other responsibilities as assigned
