Job Description
The Asst to Vice President - NEX provides administrative support for the Administrative Suite and other designated individuals as related to hospital business, while demonstrating accountability and responsibility for performance consistent with hospital and department standards. Reports to the VP Hospital Administrator.
1.Meets all standards of the Patient Satisfaction Initiative Criteria in order to make Abington – Jefferson Health (AJH) the hospital of choice for Patients and Employees.
2.Administrative support to members of the Administrative Suite, other administrative staff and others for hospital related business, including but not limited to: maintains appointment schedules and coordination of meetings, transcription of minutes, reports and correspondence.
3.Performance Logic & Press Ganey Administrative duties including creating, editing and deleting users’ accounts and creating projects in the Project Manager.
4.Day to day activities of the Administrative Suite to include but not limited to: telephone calls, filing, and greeting and assisting individuals in a timely and professional manner.
5.Performs other duties as assigned.
Experience:
Five+ years’ administrative experience in a medical or legal office setting.
Education & Training:
High School Diploma or equivalent required.
Other Requirements:
Excellent organizational skills and written and verbal communication skills. Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Programs. Ability to handle confidential and restrictive information with the utmost discretion, as well as handle multiple tasks and functions at once while presenting a positive and professional demeanor at all times.
Covid Vaccination is a requirement for employment at Jefferson for employees working at Jefferson’s clinical entities or at the University.
