Seeking an Advanced Practice Provider (Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant) to join their team. A state-of-the-art 56-bed hospital providing advanced healthcare in a beautiful mountain setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver diagnostic, therapeutic, and preventive healthcare services alongside a physician team.
- Conduct patient evaluations, including taking medical histories, performing physical exams, and treating injuries.
- Order and interpret lab tests, refill prescriptions, and make diagnoses.
- Prescribe appropriate medications and maintain thorough medical records.
- Perform non-patient facing duties such as managing patient messages, electronic prescriptions, and lab results.
- Adhere to principles of a Just Culture and uphold the organizations values.
Qualifications:
- **Experience**: Two years of experience as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in a related field is preferred.
- **Licensure and Certification**: Must hold appropriate state licensure and certifications, with credentialing by the Medical Staff Office.
- **Computer Skills**: Basic computer proficiency required, with the ability to acquire specific skills within 90 days.
- **Language**: Proficiency in reading, writing, and speaking English is necessary.
