Nurse Practitioner White Bear Lake MN (15 miles NE of Minneapolis)

Flexible Part time schedule
We are looking for a motivated Nurse Practitioner to join our medical practice in White Bear Lake MN. We are looking for a provider who can join us on a part-time basis. Our ideal NP is holistically minded, comfortable working within an integrated setting, collaborating with a knowledgeable and well-respected team of professionals, to offer a comprehensive approach to patients living with acute and chronic pain. Job duties include performing trigger point injections and Regen med injections done IM (intramuscularly) or in joints. Ideally, we are looking for someone who has experience in regen medicine and/or orthopedics and is interested or aesthetic medicine or bioidentical hormones. Must have the ability to practice independently without supervision with at least 2,080 hours within the context of a collaborative management setting in a hospital or integrated clinical setting where APRNs and physicians work together. (2,080 hrs = 1-year full time within a supervised position)

Duties:
  • Patient exam/evaluation functional and orthopedic exams (medical history, physical exam, review pertinent med records/imaging) training will be provided
  • Order and review tests/labs
  • Diagnosis and treatment plan formulation
  • Patient education as to diagnosis, treatment options, benefits, and potential risks associated with regenerative medicine procedures.
  • Manage patient care- Provide bracing for patients as needed
  • Treatments- perform trigger point, joint and regen med injections
  • Documentation and progress notes
  • Collaboration with the multidisciplinary team for comprehensive patient care and to ensure continuity of treatment plans.
  • Participate in team meetings, case conferences, and continuing education activities to enhance clinical knowledge and skills
  • Monitor and evaluate patient outcomes, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to optimize results.
Requirements:
  • Graduation from an accredited NP program
  • NP license in MN
  • Must have the ability to practice independently without supervision with at least 2,080 hours within the context of a collaborative management setting in a hospital or integrated clinical setting where APRNs and physicians work together. (2,080 hrs = 1-year full time within a supervised position)
  • Orthopedic, Physical Med and Rehab, Regen Medicine or Pain management background is a plus
  • Experience with joint injections a plus
  • Willingness to collaborate with other providers such as physical therapists and chiropractors
Schedule:
  • part time with flexible shifts
Compensation:
  • $60-$65 per hour (DOE)
