- Permanent job opening
- Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to do primary care rounding in a skilled nursing facility in the Spokane, Washington, area
- In this role, you will work one week on, one week off, approximately 8 hours per workday.
- You will also have the flexibility to set your own daily work hours
- Perform primary care in a post-acute setting for short term and long-term patients
- Manage chronic disease, diagnose illnesses and medical conditions, and implement plan of care
- Order and interpret lab results
- Prescribe and monitor medications
- Consult with physicians and coordinate patient care with other healthcare practitioners
- Educate patients and their caregivers on coping skills to handle chronic and age-related conditions
- Build relationships with your patients, patients' family members, and facility staff to facilitate effective treatment delivery
- Promote healthy lifestyle changes
- Requirements:
- 1+ years of experience as a Nurse Practitioner in a primary care setting required
- Post-acute care experience a plus, but not required
- Active and unrestricted Washington NP license required or application in progress
- Active and unrestricted Washington DEA required or application in progress
- Expected compensation is an estimated salary range of $77,000 to $122,000 annually with no cap productivity income potential. This full-time role is benefit eligible.
